  We spent 2nights at the Ascot and were impressed with our generous sized comfortable room with a view of the bay. The sunset views of the rock were perfect from the rooftop terrace. There was a good choice of breakfast items including eggs and sausage. The real highlight of our stay here was the lovely helpful friendly and cheerful staff.The takeout sandwich recommendation from Sean was much appreciated. The hotel is well situated for walking to the ocean and eating options so not necessary to use the car. We would definitely stay here again.

  We were very much pleased with our stay at the Ascot Inn. From the friendly staff at check-in, to opening the door of a clean and well-presented room, we felt very much at home. The rooms are large, romantic, and very accomodating. We appreciated the wine tasting at 5:30 and live music and the beautiful breakfast in the morning. We would recommend the Ascot to anyone. It is centrally located to the water and business district so we walked everywhere we needed to go. A beautiful place!
